Day by day
Day 1
Board in Amsterdam
Arrive in Amsterdam, transfer to the ship and settle into your cabin. Welcome dinner aboard as we remain moored overnight.
Day 2
Amsterdam
Morning canal cruise and a guided visit to the Rijksmuseum, with level access and plenty of seated viewing. Afternoon free to explore at your own pace.
Day 3
IJsselmeer and Hoorn
Sail across the IJsselmeer to Hoorn, a historic Dutch harbour town. Optional walking tour on flat ground with frequent rest stops.
Day 4
Nijmegen
Explore Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands. Gentle guided walk through the old town, then free time for coffee by the river.
Day 5
Kinderdijk windmills
Visit the famous Kinderdijk windmills. The walking is flat and optional, with a viewing point and café nearby for those who prefer to sit.
Day 6
Antwerp
A day in Antwerp: the Grote Markt, the cathedral and a relaxed lunch. Return to the ship for an early evening sailing.
Day 7
Ghent
Guided visit to Ghent, including the medieval Gravensteen castle quarter. Plenty of level access and time to rest in the old town.
Day 8
Zeeland delta
Cruise the Zeeland delta and learn about the famous Delta Works. Optional coach excursion with minimal walking.
Day 9
Return to Amsterdam
A leisurely final sailing back to Amsterdam. Farewell dinner aboard and time to pack with assistance available.
Day 10
Disembark
After a relaxed breakfast, disembark and transfer to Amsterdam airport or station.
