Day by day
Day 1
Arrive Rapid City
Arrive in Rapid City, South Dakota, and transfer to the hotel. Welcome dinner and a relaxed evening to recover from travelling.
Day 2
Badlands and Wall Drug
Drive through Badlands National Park with photo stops at accessible viewpoints. Stop at the famous Wall Drug Store for lunch and souvenirs.
Day 3
Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore
Visit the Crazy Horse Memorial, then spend the afternoon and evening at Mount Rushmore, including the evening lighting ceremony.
Day 4
Travel to Cody
Scenic drive west through Wyoming to Cody, with rest stops and a visit to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West if time allows.
Day 5
Yellowstone: Old Faithful
Enter Yellowstone National Park and visit the Old Faithful geyser basin. Boardwalks are mostly level, and the coach is never far away.
Day 6
Grand Canyon of Yellowstone
Explore the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, with its waterfalls and viewpoints. Short, optional walks at each scenic stop.
Day 7
Grand Teton National Park
Travel south through Grand Teton National Park, with stops at the best mountain viewpoints and a lakeside lunch.
Day 8
Salt Lake City
Drive to Salt Lake City for a gentle city tour, including Temple Square and the state capitol. Farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 9
Depart Salt Lake City
A leisurely breakfast and private transfers to Salt Lake City airport.
